Series 1 : The Art of Drawing Workshop
Taking time for our own wellbeing is an integral part of the Taylor + Co brand.
Based in the idyllic location of the Vale of Belvoir, Taylor + Co offers a beautiful & welcoming space to explore creativity & social connections.
The first of a series of courses focuses on the art of drawing, exploring materials and technique.
As Artists, practicing designers & Educators for over 20 years, both Jane Thomson (MA) & Nicola Taylor (MA RCA) offer expertise & personalised tuition in the subject of Art and Design.
Whether an accomplished artist or embarking for the first time on this creative journey, Jane and Nicola encourage & celebrate the development of the creative voice in all students they meet.
The introductory workshop consists of a morning & afternoon session of drawing, which will run either side of a vegetarian lunch.
All art materials are provided so all you need to bring is yourself.
At the end of the workshop, you will take away all work completed during the session, along with the art materials used in workshop to encourage further exploration into drawing.

Workshop plan:
11.00 - welcome tea/coffee
11.15 - 12.30 - Morning session – Experimentation and understanding. Exploring materials and developing techniques through observational drawing tasks.
12.30 -1.15 Lunch
1.15 - 3.00 - Afternoon session – Expanding upon and utilising techniques learnt during the morning workshop. Developing your style by producing a series of drawings from still life.
